Aspire People is working in close partnership with a welcoming and community-focused primary school, who are seeking an experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their Pre-School provision on a full-time basis. This school is known for its nurturing ethos and strong early years practice. The Pre-School team places a huge emphasis on building secure relationships, curiosity-led learning, and giving children the very best start to their education.

The Role

  • Supporting the EYFS framework through purposeful, play-based learning
  • Creating a calm, safe, and stimulating environment where children feel secure and confident
  • Supporting children with daily routines including personal care, snack times, and outdoor learning
  • Observing children's progress and contributing to assessments and learning journeys
  • Working closely with the class teacher and wider EYFS team to plan engaging activities
  • Maintaining high standards of safeguarding and health & safety at all times

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds a Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (or equivalent)
  • Has recent experience working within EYFS, ideally with under-3s
  • Is warm, patient, and genuinely passionate about early childhood development
  • Understands safeguarding and child development milestones
  • Works well as part of a close-knit team
