We are currently recruiting for an EYFS Level 3 Teaching Assistant with some HLTA responsibilities for a school in Manchester (M12). This full-time role is ideal for an experienced and confident TA who is ready to step up and lead the classroom when the teacher takes their PPA time once a week. The role offers great responsibility and the opportunity to make a significant impact in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the teacher with delivering the EYFS curriculum.
  • Take the lead during PPA time (one afternoon a week).
  • Provide support to children on a 1:1 and small group basis.
  • Help with planning and setting up activities in line with the curriculum.
  • Foster a positive learning environment, encouraging engagement and development.
  • Work alongside other staff and professionals to ensure the needs of all children are met.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in EYFS (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience working within an EYFS setting.
  • Ability to confidently lead the class during PPA time.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Enhanced DBS (or willing to apply).
  • Passionate about supporting children's development and learning.
