Are you a passionate and experienced Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity within a primary school? Aspire People are currently recruiting for a KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic primary school in Telford on a full-time, long-term basis, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is nurturing, enthusiastic and committed to supporting children to achieve their full potential.
The Role
- Supporting pupils across Key Stage 2
- Working alongside the class teacher to support learning and development
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support where required
- Supporting pupils with their academic, social and emotional development
- Helping to create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
- Supporting children with SEND needs
- Building strong and positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Assisting with classroom activities and helping pupils to stay engaged and motivated
About You
- Ideally, you will have a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching & Learning / Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification
- Previous experience working within a primary school or education setting
- Experience supporting children with SEND
- A genuine passion for working with children and helping them reach their potential
- A patient, caring and nurturing approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- No formal qualification? No problem! Strong and relevant experience working with children will also be considered.
