Aspire People is currently recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic primary school in Lutterworth, starting in January 2025. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assisting children with learning, physical, and emotional needs to help them access the curriculum
- Supporting small groups and one-on-one to build confidence and encourage independent learning
- Helping to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment where every child can succeed
- Promoting positive behaviour and social skills
- Providing personal care support where necessary, ensuring students feel safe and supported
What We’re Looking For:
- A compassionate and patient individual who genuinely cares about helping children
- Previous experience working with children, particularly in an SEN setting, is preferred but not essential
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
- A flexible approach and the ability to adapt to the individual needs of each child
