Are you a patient, compassionate, and committed individual looking to support children with additional needs in a primary school setting? Aspire People is recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work in a number of our Ofsted Outstanding primary schools across Loughborough. This is your opportunity to truly make an impact - supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Location: Loughborough and surrounding areas
Pay: £95 - £110 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Ongoing roles available - immediate or September start
About the Role:
- Supporting children with SEN on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored support plans
- Promoting independence and confidence in learning
- Helping to create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
You will need:
- Experience working with children with SEN (e.g. Autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, SEMH)
- A calm, empathetic and resilient approach
- Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
- A relevant qualification is desirable (e.g. Level 2/3 TA, SEN-related training), but not essential
