We are seeking a caring, patient, and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs in a positive and inclusive learning environment. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers and the SEN team to support students' academic, social, and emotional development. This may include working one-to-one or with small groups of pupils with needs such as ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, or social and emotional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with SEN in the classroom and during activities
- Assist with implementing individual learning plans (ILPs)
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning
- Help create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment
- Work collaboratively with teachers and parents/carers
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Be patient, empathetic, and reliable
- Have a genuine interest in supporting children with SEN
- Be able to work well as part of a team
- Have good communication skills
- Previous experience is desirable but not essential (training can be provided)
