The Role
As a Nursery Teacher, you will play a key role in providing a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children aged 2â5 years. You will plan and deliver engaging activities that promote learning, growth, and development across all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver ageâappropriate, engaging, and effective lessons based on the EYFS curriculum.
- Foster a nurturing and safe environment that encourages children's emotional, social, and cognitive development.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing regular feedback to parents and carers.
- Work collaboratively with other nursery staff to create a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere.
- Support the development of children's independence, selfâconfidence, and social skills.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Ensure compliance with all safeguarding and health & safety regulations.
What We're Looking For
- A qualified teacher with a relevant qualification in Early Years Education (e.g., QTS, NQT, Level 3 or above).
- Experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting is preferred.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
