Are you a qualified English teacher based in Leicestershire looking for a new opportunity? This position is full time, teaching to KS3 and KS4, starting January until July with the potential for it to become permanent. The school I am recruiting for are looking for an English teacher who would like to join an already successful team. They are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and well qualified teacher to deliver high quality lessons whilst successfully engaging students. You will need to be able to maintain an environment where students will thrive with their personal, academic and creative development.

As an English teacher, the school will expect the following:

  • Teach English to KS3 & KS4 level.
  • Have a detailed knowledge of the curriculum.
  • Have high standards of communication and the ability to work as a team.
  • Assess, mark and plan lessons.
  • Assess achievements of pupils.

To be considered for this position, you will need to have the following:

  • UK QTS/ QTLS
  • Relevant teaching experience across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 is beneficial)
  • An enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willing to apply for one)
  • Excellent communication skills and commitment to working as part of a team.
