Aspire People are working in partnership with a popular secondary school based in Newport to recruit a dedicated and inspiring Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher for a September 2026 start. The successful candidate will be required to deliver Spanish, French and/or German, providing engaging and inclusive lessons that inspire pupils to develop confidence and fluency in modern foreign languages. The role is suitable for both experienced teachers and strong ECTs.

The Role:

  • Teaching Spanish, French and German across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Planning and delivering creative, engaging MFL lessons
  • Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, progress and achievement
  • Assessing, monitoring and supporting pupil progress
  • Working collaboratively within the MFL department and wider school team

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold QTS or a recognised UK teaching qualification
  • Have experience teaching Spanish, French and/or German in a UK secondary school
  • Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Be able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Have a passion for languages and inclusive teaching practices
