The Role

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of your pupils.
  • Foster a positive, nurturing classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to support children with a range of additional needs.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, therapists, and wider school teams.
  • Monitor pupil progress and celebrate every achievement, helping children build confidence and independence.
  • Promote positive behaviour and encourage a lifelong love of learning.

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2.
  • Previous experience supporting children with SEND in either mainstream or specialist settings.
  • A caring, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • The ability to provide two years of professional references.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
