Aspire People are currently recruiting Intervention Teaching Assistants to work in mainstream Primary schools (KS1 / KS2) based in and around Bolton. The ideal candidate for this role would be a talented and experienced Teaching Assistant who has experience of working with lower level learners providing booster support. You will be expected to carry out intervention sessions, plan age-appropriate activities and work with the class teacher tracking development and provide feedback. You will have a passion and willingness to support students no matter what they need. Supply roles can offer you a flexible lifestyle where you can choose the days you work, and help to develop experience across a number of different schools, classes and year groups.

Requirements:

  • Level 2/3 Support Teaching or Learning (or ratio equivalent).
  • Previous experience working with students on SEN.
  • Strong empathy and understanding of individual student needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with the student, staff, and parents.
  • Patience, resilience, and the ability to provide emotional support when needed.
  • Must be confident, interactive and have the ability to work well in a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the student and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
