Aspire People are currently recruiting SEND teaching assistants to work in a special needs school located in Louth. This particular school is looking for a teaching assistant that has experience working in the care sector, who is interested in utilising their skills within education. This school caters for students in EYFS through to KS5 with moderate to severe/profound learning difficulties and complex needs. The students' needs are extremely wide ranging; with a large majority on the autistic spectrum, with others having Emotional and Behavioural needs, ADHD and varying degrees of developmental delay, and some with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties.
This school is currently recruiting to start April 2026 with a rolling contract, with the option to go permanent. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone from an education background or those that have worked within Healthcare/Support Work.
The Role
- Monday to Friday - 8:30 - 15:30, full time
- Long-term contract with the option of extending
- Location: Louth
- School: SEMH school
- Pay: 100-115£/day
- Start: April 2026 (after Easter break) or sooner
- Working one to one with students
- Working with a number of assistants and working collaboratively with the class teacher
- Developing social and cognitive development
