Primary Teaching Assistant (General Classroom)

105-110 per day

Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)

Contract: Long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Are you passionate about making a difference in children’s lives? Aspire People is recruiting enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistants to work in a welcoming primary school in Boston from September.

This rewarding role offers the opportunity to work either as a 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant, supporting children with additional needs, or as a General Classroom Teaching Assistant, helping to create an engaging and positive learning environment for all pupils.

The Role

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Provide 1:1 support for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), following individual learning and support plans where required.
  • Assist with whole-class activities and provide small-group interventions.
  • Encourage pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Promote positive behaviour and help create a safe, nurturing classroom environment.
  • Monitor pupil progress and communicate effectively with teaching staff.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to support successful learning.
