We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Retail Lecturer to join a specialist education college supporting learners with additional needs in Lincoln. This is a long-term, ongoing position, starting in September, working 4 days per week, with Tuesday and Wednesday as fixed days and the remaining two days flexible.
Role Overview
You will work closely with students on a 1:1 and small group basis, helping them develop practical retail skills, employability confidence, and independence. The focus is on accessible, engaging teaching tailored to individual learning needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging retail-based learning sessions
- Provide 1:1 support to learners with special educational needs
- Adapt teaching approaches to suit a range of abilities
- Support students in developing workplace and life skills
- Contribute to individual learning plans and progress tracking
- Create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
About You
- Experience in retail or a related industry (essential)
- Teaching experience preferred, but QTS is not mandatory
- Experience working with or supporting learners with additional needs is highly desirable
- Patient, adaptable, and committed to inclusive education
- Able to build positive, supportive relationships with students

- Pay Rate: £150 - £160 per day
