Aspire People are recruiting Level 3 Teaching Assistants to work across a range of welcoming primary schools in Manchester and the surrounding areas. We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants who hold a relevant Level 3 qualification and have more than 6 months of UK-based experience working within a school.
The Role:
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils
- Supporting pupils with SEND, learning difficulties, and additional needs
- Assisting with planning and delivering learning activities
- Supporting phonics, Maths, English, and curriculum-based interventions
- Helping pupils build confidence, independence, and resilience
- Supporting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Working closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff
- Monitoring and recording pupil progress
- Supporting classroom routines and maintaining an inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds a relevant Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification
- Has more than 6 months of UK-based experience working within a school
- Has experience supporting pupils across the primary age range
- Has a strong understanding of classroom support and pupil development
- Is confident supporting pupils with SEND
- Has excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
- Is patient, adaptable, and committed to helping pupils succeed
