Aspire People are currently working with a primary school looking to recruit an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Key Stage 2 from September 2026. The school is looking for a confident and knowledgeable Teaching Assistant who can work independently, deliver high-quality interventions, and support pupils to achieve excellent academic progress. This is an exciting opportunity to join a welcoming school that values the contribution of experienced support staff.

The Role:

  • Supporting teaching and learning across KS2 classrooms
  • Delivering focused intervention sessions in English and Maths
  • Providing 1:1 and small-group academic support
  • Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and assessment activities
  • Encouraging independence, resilience, and confidence in pupils
  • Helping maintain a positive and engaging learning environment

The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
  • Have recent experience working within a UK primary school in the last 2 years
  • Have strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
  • Be confident delivering intervention programmes independently
  • Have excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Be committed to raising pupil achievement
