Aspire People are currently recruiting a Level 2 Teaching Assistant for a friendly and well-run primary school in M40. The school is looking for someone confident supporting KS1 pupils, particularly with early literacy and numeracy. This is an excellent opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who enjoys building strong relationships with pupils and being part of a collaborative staff team.
The Role
You will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning in a KS1 classroom, helping pupils stay engaged, confident, and on track with their learning. Your duties will include:
- Supporting the class teacher during lessons
- Delivering phonics, reading, and maths interventions
- Providing 1:1 support to pupils who need additional help
- Supporting pupils' social and emotional development
