Aspire People are currently seeking high-quality, confident and professional Cover Supervisors to work across a network of primary schools in Leicestershire. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and want to make a meaningful impact in the classroom. We are offering immediate starts or September 2026 placements, depending on availability.
The Role
- Supervising whole classes in the absence of the class teacher
- Delivering and explaining pre-set work clearly and confidently
- Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and engagement
- Creating a calm, structured and positive learning environment
- Supporting pupils to stay focused and achieve lesson objectives
This role is ideal for individuals who can quickly build rapport with pupils and confidently manage classroom dynamics.
Working Hours
- 08:30 - 15:30 (aligned with the primary school day)
- Term-time only assignments
- Flexible placements available across Leicestershire
Candidate Profile
- QTS and/or PGCE
- Strong classroom presence and the ability to lead groups confidently
- Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
- Reliability, professionalism and a proactive attitude
- A genuine interest in supporting children
