This is an excellent opportunity for teachers who want to build strong relationships with pupils, become part of a school community and provide continuity of learning over an extended placement.
The Role
- Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across KS1 and KS2
- Follow school schemes of work and lesson plans where provided
- Plan and adapt learning activities to meet pupils' needs
- Establish positive relationships with pupils and school staff
- Maintain effective classroom management and high expectations
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to support learning
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistency across the school
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Previous experience working with children in a primary school setting
- Ability to teach across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
- Strong classroom management and lesson delivery skills
- A reliable, adaptable and committed approach
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
