Early Years Teaching Assistant - Leicester Location: Leicester Salary: £105 per day Contract: Monday to Friday, term time only Start Date: Immediate / ongoing Aspire People are recruiting for a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young children during the early stages of their education and helping them develop the skills they need to thrive. We are looking for someone who can create a nurturing environment, encourage learning through play and work closely with teaching staff to support children's development. The Role Support the class teacher with daily learning activities and classroom routines Encourage children's development through play-based learning and practical activities Provide support with communication, social skills and independence Help create a safe, engaging and stimulating Early Years environment Assist children with their emotional and personal development Support small-group activities and individual learning where required Build positive relationships with children, staff and parents Help maintain a structured and inclusive classroom environment Requirements Previous experience working with children is essential Experience within an Early Years, nursery or primary school setting A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) would be beneficial Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to support children's learning and development Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing What Aspire People Offer Competitive daily rate of £105 Monday to Friday, term time only Ongoing opportunities across Leicester and Leicestershire Support from a dedicated education consultant Access to a wide range of schools and education settings Opportunities for longer-term placements and permanent roles If you are passionate about Early Years education and enjoy helping young children learn, grow and develop, we would love to hear from you.
