Aspire People are building a bank of talented, graduate Learning Support Assistants to work across secondary schools in Manchester. Whether you’re seeking your first role after university or looking to gain more experience in education, we have opportunities to match your skills and ambitions.
We’re looking for graduates with strong subject knowledge, a passion for supporting young people, and the drive to make a real difference. You’ll work closely with teachers, providing targeted support to students—including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)—helping them reach their full potential.
What we’re looking for:
- UK Bachelor’s degree in a subject related to the secondary curriculum
- Excellent understanding of core subjects (English, Maths, Science)
- Experience supporting young people – this could be through tutoring, university mentoring schemes, youth work, or similar
- Experience working with students with SEND is highly desirable
- DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
- Ability to provide references covering the last 2 years
- Confident, dedicated, and passionate about education
- Aspiring to train as a teacher in the future (desirable)
