Aspire People are looking for a new addition to a Class Team in the role of KS2 Teaching Assistant. In this role you will support the Class Teacher in the delivery of lessons and support the emotional well being of students. This role is based in a lovely 1 form entry school based in a village in South Derbyshire. This is a full time, long term position starting ASAP for the rest of the academic year.
Responsibilities
- Support the Class Teacher in the delivery of lessons
- Support the emotional well being of students
Qualifications and Requirements
- Hold a relevant qualification & experience for Teaching Assistant
- Alternatively hold an NVQ Level 2/3 or a minimum of 3 months full-time experience in a classroom
- SEN experience required (experience with Autism and challenging behaviour would be useful but not essential if other experience is similar and adaptable)
- Two suitable references covering the last 2 years
- Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
