Are you a caring, patient, and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in children’s lives? We are seeking an enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs and Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a welcoming and supportive school within the B31 area.
The Role
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for KS2 pupils.
- Support children with SEMH and a range of additional learning needs.
- Help create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams.
- Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience supporting children with SEN and/or SEMH needs.
- Patient, resilient, and adaptable approach.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Passion for helping children achieve their full potential.
- Relevant TA qualification or school-based experience is desirable.
