About the role

Aspire People are recruiting for a KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming primary school in B38, starting in April 2026. This role involves supporting pupils within Key Stage 2 who require additional support with their learning and development. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to provide tailored support, helping pupils access the curriculum and make progress.

Responsibilities

  • Providing 1:1 or small group SEN support within KS2
  • Supporting pupils with their learning, communication and emotional development
  • Assisting the class teacher with adapted learning activities
  • Promoting positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
  • Helping create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
