We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Teaching Assistant to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in Key Stage 1. In this role, you'll be at the heart of helping young learners overcome challenges and develop confidence in their abilities.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Provide tailored support for children with SEN, guiding them through their individual learning plans and helping them stay engaged in lessons.
  • Deliver 1:1 or small group interventions focused on improving literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
  • Work alongside experienced teachers to modify and adapt lessons to meet the specific needs of children.
  • Be a positive role model, helping children navigate both academic challenges and social interactions.

  • Previous experience working with SEN children, ideally in a school setting.
  • A proactive, caring approach with the ability to motivate and support children.
  • Level 2 or 3 qualification in supporting teaching and learning, or a similar qualification.
