We are currently looking for a qualified KS1 Supply Teacher to work in primary schools across Daventry, covering short and long-term placements.

Role Overview

As a Supply KS1 Teacher with Aspire People, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons to young learners in Key Stage 1, providing cover for absent class teachers. You will be stepping into a variety of schools across Daventry, helping ensure that students continue to receive exceptional education in a positive and nurturing classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons for Key Stage 1 students in line with the national curriculum.
  • Provide support for children with different learning needs, ensuring inclusion and participation.
  • Effectively manage the classroom to maintain a productive learning environment.
  • Mark and assess students\\\’ work where necessary and provide feedback.
  • Ensure a positive and respectful classroom atmosphere, managing behaviour effectively.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching in a primary school, specifically in Key Stage 1, is preferred.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt quickly to new environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for working with young children.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching.
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
