Position: KS1 Primary Teacher (Full-time)

Location: Kirkdale, Liverpool

Start Date: January 2026 - July 2026

Salary: £130 - £190 Per day - Pay to scale from 12 weeks (Salary dependant on experience)

Aspire People are working with a welcoming North Liverpool primary school who are looking for a dedicated KS1 Teacher to join their team from January on a full-time basis. This is a two-term placement with the potential to extend into the next academic year, or even lead to a direct contract with the school in the next academic year. The school has a wonderfully supportive team and a strong community spirit, with a higher-than-average number of children who have SEND needs. They are looking for a teacher who can combine creativity and care with structure and consistency, someone who can make every child feel seen, supported, and successful.

The role:

  • Teaching a Year 2 class within a nurturing, inclusive environment
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
  • Supporting children with EHCPs and working closely with the SENDCo and support staff
  • Adapting and differentiating lessons to help every child access the curriculum
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families to create a safe and positive learning environment

What we are looking for:

  • A passionate KS1 Teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a commitment to inclusive education
  • Experience supporting children with SEND and/or EHCPs
  • A reflective practitioner who can tailor learning to individual needs
  • Someone who brings warmth, resilience, and a sense of fun to the classroom
  • The ability to provide two professional references
  • Have, or be prepared to obtain, an Enhanced DBS check
