Supply Teachers Needed - Knowsley & Liverpool Primary & SEND Schools Immediate Opportunities Available. We're a specialist education agency working closely with primary and SEND schools across the area, and right now, we simply can't keep up. Every week, schools are calling us needing reliable, adaptable supply teachers for day-to-day cover, PPA and training days, or short- and long-term sickness. Too often, we have to turn schools away because we don't have enough staff to meet demand. If you're a qualified teacher - or about to be - there's more opportunity here than you might expect.

What's on offer?

  • Competitive daily rates - based on school, role, and experience (typically 135-190 per day)
  • Paid to scale after 12 weeks in a long-term placement
  • Total flexibility – you choose the days you work
  • Reduced workload – minimal planning and marking for most day-to-day roles
  • Variety – work across different schools, year groups, and settings
  • Networking opportunities – headteachers talk, so every placement counts
  • Pathways into long‑term roles – many supply placements can lead to permanent positions
  • High demand for SEND experience – excellent opportunities for specialists

We also offer a guarantee scheme for supply teachers. In simple terms: you get paid even if we don't place you that day - provided you're available and ready to go. Terms and eligibility will be discussed when you apply.

Who is supply teaching right for?

  • ECTs & Graduates – A brilliant way to build classroom experience, confidence, and skills across a range of schools. Longer placements can contribute to your ECT induction and often open doors to permanent roles.
  • M1‑M6 Teachers – Teaching is tough, and burnout is common from around year three onwards. Supply work can give you breathing space – reduced workload, flexible days, and a chance to reset while staying active in the classroom.
  • Experienced & Specialist Teachers – We regularly get requests for teachers with specific expertise, especially within SEND. Fixed‑term supply roles can be an excellent way to broaden your experience or take the next step in your career.

To be considered for this role, you must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK, and both experienced and ECT's are encouraged to apply. We're working with a wide network of schools across Knowsley and Liverpool, with new opportunities coming in every week. If you're curious about supply - or just want an honest chat about your options with someone who's been in the classroom - you know what to do: apply today, and I'll be in touch.
