About the Role:
Aspire People are recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming school in Telford. This is a full-time, long-term position, where you will play a key role in supporting the learning and development of young children in their early years of education.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative lessons to Key Stage 1 pupils.

Provide one-to-one and small group support, especially for pupils who may need additional help.

Support the development of early literacy and numeracy skills.

Encourage children to build their social, emotional, and academic skills.

Help to create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.

Assist with classroom management and ensure a safe, supportive space for all pupils.

Support children during break times and lunch periods when required.

Foster positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.

Key Requirements:

Experience working with young children is essential; experience within Key Stage 1 or Early Years is highly desirable.

A relevant qualification in education (e.g., CACHE Level 2 or 3, or similar) is preferred, but experience will also be considered.

Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with children at their level.

A patient, enthusiastic, and proactive approach to working with children.

Ability to work well within a team and contribute to a positive classroom atmosphere.

Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
