Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm

Contract: Full-time | Term-time only

Aspire People are currently recruiting for a KS1 Teacher to join a fantastic primary school in Telford on a full-time, long-term basis, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic, nurturing and committed to creating an engaging and supportive learning environment where every child can thrive.

The Role

  • Teaching pupils across Key Stage 1
  • Planning and delivering engaging, creative and inclusive lessons
  • Creating a positive and stimulating classroom environment
  • Supporting pupils with their academic, social and emotional development
  • Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners
  • Working closely with teaching assistants and other school staff
  • Supporting children with SEND and additional needs
  • Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
  • Building strong and positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
  • Contributing to the wider life of the school

About You

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent
  • Previous experience teaching within Key Stage 1
  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
  • Experience supporting children with SEND would be beneficial
  • A genuine passion for teaching and helping children reach their potential
  • A nurturing, enthusiastic and creative approach
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a wider school team
