Aspire People are currently recruiting for a KS1 Teacher to join a fantastic primary school in Telford on a full-time, long-term basis, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate. The Role
- Teaching pupils across Key Stage 1
- Planning and delivering engaging, creative and inclusive lessons
- Creating a positive and stimulating classroom environment
- Supporting pupils with their academic, social and emotional development
- Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners
- Working closely with teaching assistants and other school staff
- Supporting children with SEND and additional needs
- Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
- Building strong and positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
- Contributing to the wider life of the school
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent
- Previous experience teaching within Key Stage 1
- Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
- Experience supporting children with SEND would be beneficial
- A genuine passion for teaching and helping children reach their potential
- A nurturing, enthusiastic and creative approach
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- The ability to work effectively as part of a wider school team
