Aspire People are currently recruiting Intervention Teaching Assistants to work in mainstream Primary schools (KS1 / KS2) based in Manchester City and surrounding areas.
The ideal candidate for this role would be a talented and experienced Teaching Assistant who has experience of working with lower level learners providing booster support. You will be expected to carry out intervention sessions, plan age-appropriate activities and work with the class teacher tracking development and provide feedback.
You will have a passion and be willing to support students no matter what they need.

Requirements:
- Level 2/3 Support Teaching or Learning (or ratio equivalent.)
- Previous experience working with students on SEN
- Strong empathy and understanding of individual student need
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with the student, staff, and parents
- Patience, resilience, and the ability to provide emotional support when needed
- Must be confident, interactive and have the ability to work well in a team
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the student and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
