Do you have recent experience working in a UK primary school and want to continue making a difference in children's education? We are recruiting a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning within a friendly and inclusive primary school. This role would suit someone who enjoys working closely with children and thrives in a busy classroom environment.
Your Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons across the curriculum.
- Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning.
- Assist with phonics, reading, writing, and numeracy activities.
- Help prepare classroom resources and learning materials.
- Support pupils with varying learning abilities and additional needs.
- Encourage positive behaviour, participation, and independence.
- Supervise pupils during classroom activities and transitions.
- Contribute to a safe, welcoming, and inclusive learning environment.
Essential Requirements:
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Recent experience working within a UK primary school in the last 2 years is essential. Applications without recent UK school experience cannot be considered.
- Good understanding of safeguarding and behaviour management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
