QTS SEND teacher for a friendly SEND school (teaching Secondary age students performing at a Primary level) in Horncastle. Are you a passionate and dedicated QTS teacher? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a full-time teacher at a friendly SEND school in Horncastle.
To help you get started and settled in the position, initially all the planning will be provided. As a full-time teacher, you will be responsible for teaching a small group of children with varying levels of abilities. Working closely with several dedicated class teaching assistants assigned to the pupils, you will ensure that each child receives the support they need to thrive academically, socially, and personally.
You will be expected to collaborate with the Primary and SENCO team to develop a cohesive and challenging education programme for the children and plan your lessons. Your creativity, adaptability, and strong communication skills will be key in delivering engaging lessons and fostering a positive learning environment.
The ideal candidate will possess a relevant teaching qualification (valid UK QTS) and have experience working with primary and secondary school-aged children. You should be passionate about education, committed to the growth and development of your pupils, and have a strong understanding of the national curriculum. SEND/SEMH experience will be extremely useful in this position.
