Aspire People are recruiting adaptable HLTA’s to join a Specialist Primary School in Telford, dedicated to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment for pupils aged 4 to 11 years old. The school caters to children with a variety of needs, including Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Physical Disabilities (PD), and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). We pride ourselves on fostering a supportive atmosphere that empowers our students to thrive., Support the classroom teacher in delivering tailored educational programs.

Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging learning activities that cater to individual needs.

Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with various needs, ensuring they are fully included in all activities.

Help manage and promote positive behaviour within the classroom.

Foster a nurturing and safe learning environment for all students.

HLTA status or equivalent qualification (Level 4 or above in relevant subjects).

Experience working with children with additional needs, preferably in a primary school setting.

Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and staff.

Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards learning.

A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous professional development.
