Aspire People is looking to recruit Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) for two welcoming and supportive primary schools in Central Manchester, starting September 2026.
About the Role: HLTAs in these schools support learning across all year groups, from EYFS to Year 6, providing high-quality teaching and learning support. These full-time roles are ideal for candidates with primary school experience who are confident in covering lessons and PPA time, delivering engaging lessons, and helping children achieve their full potential.
We Are Looking For Candidates Who:
- Have experience working in primary schools, ideally across multiple year groups.
- Are confident in covering lessons and supporting teachers during PPA time.
- Hold a UK degree, preferably in Childhood Studies, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Have recently completed their PGCE and wish to gain additional teaching experience without the full responsibilities of a classroom teacher.
- Are enthusiastic, motivated, and able to build strong relationships with children and staff.
- Have a DBS on the Update Service and can provide references covering the last 2 years.
