Aspire People are working in partnership with a supportive and inclusive primary school in Manchester who are seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team on a long-term basis. This is a key role within the school, offering responsibility, variety, and the opportunity to make a real impact on pupil progress.
The Role
- Deliver pre-planned lessons during teacher PPA or absence
- Lead small-group interventions across KS1 and KS2
- Support teaching and learning alongside class teachers
- Assist with assessment, planning, and classroom organisation
- Support pupils with additional needs where required
What We’re Looking For
- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
- Recent experience in a UK primary school (within the last 2 years)
- Confidence leading whole-class learning
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
