Are you a qualified teacher or leader with extensive SEN/SEMH and management experience? Perhaps you are looking for a permanent post in a specialist secondary school? I am working with a trust who are looking to appoint a Head of School for their specialist SEN/SEMH setting, starting in September.

Head of School | The Role:

  • You will be responsible for leading the behaviour team
  • Support the team to meet the individual needs of pupils with a range of SEN, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and complex learning difficulties.
  • You’ll work closely with support staff, therapists, and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for every learner
  • Use a range of strategies and interventions to support behaviour and emotional regulation
  • Monitor progress and maintain accurate records of pupil achievement

Head of School | About you:

  • Must have QTS or NPQSEN
  • Have extensive leadership experience within SEND and inclusion
  • Fair but firm approach
  • Understand the expectations and strategic nature of the role

Head of School | Key Information:

  • Permanent role
  • Starting September
  • Interviews are being held ASAP
  • Tameside/Wythenshawe location
  • £48,000 - £52,000
