Aspire People is urgently looking for a SEND/SEMH QTS teacher for a SEMH school in Grantham NG31. Are you an experienced and qualified SEND Teacher looking for your next teaching post? Do you have experience teaching students with a range of SEND & SEMH needs? Are you a primary or secondary qualified teacher who would like to transition into a SEND/SEMH setting?

I am currently recruiting for a SEND teacher for a well-established SEMH school in Grantham servicing pupils from 9 to 18 years old. The post is initially a temporary position but ongoing.

Location: Grantham NG31

Hours: Monday-Friday, Full Time, 8.30-16.00 term time only

Start date: January 2026

Pay: £180-200/day

As a teacher, you will be involved in the marking and planning of lessons. You will need to be resilient, empathetic, patient and passionate. Being able to think outside of the box and having the ability to change your teaching methods to suit individual needs is critical. The school caters for students who cannot access mainstream education; many of the students have either Autism, Aspergers or SEMH needs. Strong behaviour management is essential, and you must have the patience to deal with challenging behaviour at times.
