Are you a recent UK Psychology graduate with a passion for inclusive education? Do you want to make a lasting impact on the lives of young people facing social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges? Specialist schools across Manchester are seeking Graduate SEMH Teaching Assistants to support students academically and emotionally, helping them overcome barriers and thrive in a supportive environment.
About the Role:
- Support students with SEMH needs in both group settings and on a 1:1 basis
- Assist in delivering tailored learning programmes and emotional regulation strategies
- Promote positive behaviour, resilience, and self-esteem
- Help create an inclusive, safe, and nurturing learning environment
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to ensure every child is supported
What We're Looking For:
- A recent UK Psychology graduate (or related field)
- Experience working with children/young people with SEMH needs
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- Passionate about education and making a difference
- Able to commit to a role from April 2026
- Able to provide references covering the last 2 years
- MUST be able to drive
