Are you passionate about making a difference in children's lives? Aspire People is recruiting enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistants to work in a welcoming primary school in GAINSBOROUGH from September. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to work either as a 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant, supporting children with additional needs, or as a General Classroom Teaching Assistant, helping to create an engaging and positive learning environment for all pupils.
The Role
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Provide 1:1 support for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), following individual learning and support plans where required.
- Assist with whole-class activities and provide small-group interventions.
- Encourage pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.
- Promote positive behaviour and help create a safe, nurturing classroom environment.
- Monitor pupil progress and communicate effectively with teaching staff.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to support successful learning outcomes.
We Are Looking For
- Teaching Assistants with previous school experience.
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualified candidates.
- Recent Teaching Assistant course graduates looking to gain classroom experience.
- Care workers or support workers with experience supporting vulnerable children, young people, or adults.
- Graduates considering a future career in education.
- Anyone with transferable skills and a genuine passion for supporting children.
