We are currently seeking a dedicated Functional Skills Tutor to join our vibrant team in Hounslow. As a Functional Skills Tutor, your role involves delivering dynamic and interactive lessons in functional skills subjects such as English and mathematics. It is essential to tailor your teaching approach to accommodate the diverse needs and learning styles of your students. Through assessing individual learners' strengths and areas for improvement, you can develop personalised learning plans to facilitate their progress. Moreover, your aim should be to inspire and motivate students, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment to help them achieve their goals. Together, these efforts contribute to creating an effective and enriching educational experience for all involved.
Functional Skills Tutor Requirements:
- Teaching Qualifications - minimum Level 3 Education & Training or above and hold a Level 2/GCSE qualification in English and Mathematics.
- Experience teaching Functional skills in English and Mathematics.
- Excellent time management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport with students of all backgrounds.
- Creative approach to teaching.
