Aspire People are recruiting for an experienced and confident KS1 Teacher to join a supportive primary school on a long-term basis starting in September. The school is looking for a strong classroom practitioner with previous experience teaching within Key Stage 1 who can quickly build positive relationships, maintain high expectations, and support pupils during an important stage of their development. This role would suit a teacher who is passionate about phonics, early literacy, and creating engaging learning experiences that help pupils thrive academically and socially. The school has indicated there may also be an opportunity for the successful candidate to spend time within the school before the summer break to support transition and get to know the class.
Please note, the school is specifically looking for an experienced teacher for this role and is not currently considering ECT applications.
The Role:
- Full classroom teaching responsibility within KS1
- Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
- Supporting pupil progress in phonics, reading, writing, and Maths
- Creating a positive and structured learning environment
- Monitoring attainment and adapting lessons to support individual needs
- Working collaboratively with the wider KS1 team and leadership staff
