Early Years Teaching Assistant - Normanton
Are you a Teaching Assistant looking for a new full time role supporting pupils in a nursery class? I am currently recruiting for a Level 2/3 Childcare Practitioner or Teaching Assistant to support a whole nursery or reception class in Derby (Normanton). Starting a long-term position from ASAP. You will be working 5 days a week and will be expected to be comfortable with personal care.
As an agency employed TA, the schools will expect you to maintain the standards of a permanent member of staff so the following is expected:
- Strong EYFS curriculum knowledge.
- Minimum Level 2 Childcare (or equivalent) qualification for ratio purposes.
- Regular assessments of pupils.
- Able to engage in learning activities.
- Confident with personal care.
Our Derby team will be available 24/7 for you should you need support with anything.
