Aspire People are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic ESOL Tutor to join our growing team on a sessional basis. You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing high-quality ESOL courses that support adult learners in developing their English language skills.

Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging sessions tailored to curriculum goals and individual learner needs.
- Assess learners, identify areas for improvement, and adapt teaching methods and materials accordingly.
- Provide individual support through one-on-one sessions and additional resources.
- Monitor learner progress, give constructive feedback, and address underperformance.
- Set, mark, and provide feedback on assignments, tests, and exams.
- Prepare learners for assessments, mark work, and participate in moderation.
- Hold a recognised teaching qualification such as CELTA, DELTA, TESOL, or a full teaching qualification for adult learning (DTLLS, PGCE, or DET).
- A minimum GCSE English Grade C or equivalent if teaching ESOL/Literacy.
- Proven successful track record of planning and delivering high-quality teaching of accredited and non-accredited provision in relevant subjects and at appropriate levels.
- Experience of teaching adult learners of mixed abilities and an understanding of appropriate teaching strategies.
- Experience of devising course outlines and schemes of work.
