Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Economics and Business Studies across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that challenge and motivate students.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and extracurricular business-related activities.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) OR an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • A degree in Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Experience teaching Economics and/or Business Studies at secondary school level.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A commitment to raising student achievement and supporting their personal development.
