Job description

Early Years Teaching Assistant – Streetly
I am looking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant with a minimum 1 years\’ experience to work 1-1 or with small groups of children with a range of special educational needs.

Ideally this candidate will have a strong understanding of the EYFS and passion for giving young children the best standards of care in an Primary School setting.
responsibilities will include:
* Support and implement a well-structured curriculum that aligns with the Early Years Framework
* Supervision of students on a 1:1 or small group basis
* Provide additional learning support as identified
* Engage, motivate, and encourage students to complete work set
* Make sure all students are focused and on track to meet their lesson objectives
* Support the class teacher to manage classroom behaviour
* Provide feedback to the classroom teacher on student\’s progress and development
* Help to create an engaging and supportive learning environment that fosters children\’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
* Collaborate with parents, guardians, and fellow educators in the children\’s learning journey
* Promote positive behaviour management techniques and establish clear boundaries Requirements
* Level 3 TA qualification or a Level 6 Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
* Proven experience working with children within a primary school
* Thorough understanding of the EYFS curriculum and its application in planning, teaching, and assessment.
* Ability to adapt teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
