As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the early years curriculum and helping children develop the essential skills they need for later learning. What We Are Looking For:

  • A valid DBS check is preferred but can be processed for the right candidate
  • An EYFS qualification (Level 2 or above) is highly desirable, though not essential
  • At least two professional references from previous roles in education or child-focused settings
  • Passion for working with young children, particularly those in the early stages of learning
  • A proactive and adaptable attitude, with the ability to engage and motivate children in a variety of learning activities
  • Experience in an early years setting is beneficial but not a requirement.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality learning experiences to children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Assist with planning and preparing activities tailored to meet the developmental needs of the children
  • Promote positive behaviour and support students' social and emotional development
  • Provide individual or small group support to ensure all children have the opportunity to succeed
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and stimulating classroom environment.
