This role is for Early Career Teachers (ECT) looking to gain experience in a classroom setting. The position involves working as a classroom teacher, providing continuity to pupils’ education, and preparing lesson plans, assessments, and marking.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver planned lessons and manage classroom behaviour.
  • Plan and assess student progress for long‑term placements.
  • Prepare and mark lesson books within the day‑to‑day supply schedule.
  • Build rapport with students and maintain a nurturing learning environment.

Qualifications:

  • Holder of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Kind, nurturing personality with a passion for working with children.
  • DBS check (provided if not already in place).
  • Safeguarding Level 1 training (training provided free of charge).
