Are you a qualified Early Years Practitioner looking to move into a primary school environment? Aspire People are recruiting Early Years Practitioners, Nursery Nurses and Nursery Practitioners to support primary schools from September 2026. Your existing experience working with young children can transfer extremely well into a school setting, particularly if you have a strong understanding of child development, communication, learning through play and the EYFS framework. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young children and wants to develop their experience within education.

The Role Could Include:

  • Supporting children across Nursery and Reception
  • Supporting learning through play and exploration
  • Developing communication and language
  • Supporting early phonics and literacy
  • Developing early Maths and number skills
  • Supporting children's personal, social and emotional development
  • Assisting with observations and assessment
  • Supporting classroom routines and transitions
  • Creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment
  • Working alongside teachers and other EYFS practitioners

We're Looking For:

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification or relevant experience
  • Recent experience working with young children
  • Strong understanding of child development
  • Knowledge of the EYFS framework
  • Nurturing, patient and creative approach
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with children
