Aspire People are recruiting experienced and qualified Level 4 Teaching Assistants to work within primary schools across Manchester and surrounding areas. This role is suited to candidates who have progressed beyond Level 3 and are looking for greater responsibility within the classroom, including supporting interventions, pupil progress and SEND provision.
The Role:
- Providing high-level classroom support across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- Delivering targeted 1:1 and small-group interventions
- Supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH and additional learning needs
- Assisting teachers with planning, preparation and assessment
- Supporting phonics, literacy and numeracy interventions
- Helping pupils develop independence, confidence and positive behaviour
- Supporting classroom routines and learning activities
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and wider support teams
- Taking on additional responsibilities within the classroom where required
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds a recognised Level 4 Teaching Assistant or relevant equivalent qualification
- Has strong recent experience working within a UK primary school
- Previous experience working with SEND is highly desirable
- Confident delivering interventions and supporting pupil progress
- Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
- Able to work independently and take initiative
- Looking to progress within a primary education setting
